Thursday, January 15th
The scenic drive to Angel Fire, NM is two hours northeast and crosses into the Carson National Forest. Its name stems from the angel fire that lights the high peaks at sunrise and sunset, and is truly something you have to see to believe.

The Resort

The Ski Area

The Ski Area
The Red River Ski Area, historically a mining town, is today known as the "Ski Town of the Southwest" With an average of 18 feet of snow each year, and plenty of sun, it is easy to see how this small ski town has made a name for itself as a winter wonderland for skiers and snowboarders alike.
